Spring Semester Career Fair Thursday, March 8

Building off of the overwhelming success of the Fall Career Fair and continuing demand for qualified SUNY Canton students and alumni, the Office of Career Services will be holding a Spring Career Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, in the Richard W. Miller Campus Center Intramural Gym.

The Spring Career Fair will take steps to encourage further entrepreneurship and business development in addition to helping employers fill key positions. Canton Director of Economic Development Linda McQuinn and Small Business Development Center Director Dale Rice will be talking to students and guests about starting their own businesses in the North Country.

“We’re finding that many of our graduates want to start their own businesses,” said Director of Career Services David Norenberg. “It is our pleasure to welcome Linda McQuinn and Dale Rice, two people who can assist entrepreneurs with their business ventures.”

The Career Fair routinely brings companies who are specifically interested in students from SUNY Canton’s career-driven programs, but the event is free and open to job seekers from throughout the community.
