Spring Campaign Raises $30,000 for Canton College Foundation

The SUNY Canton College Foundation has raised a total of $30,000 during the first “Spring Ahead and Give Back” campaign, which ran from April 1 to June 30.

Money raised will benefit the Canton Fund, formerly known as the Annual Fund, which supports scholarships, campus enhancements, faculty and staff grants, alumni activities and more.

“The Canton Fund helps us maintain and develop the excellent college experience at SUNY Canton,” said Keith Rosser, acting vice president for advancement. “Contributions help bridge a critical gap between state funding and the rising cost of education.”

Rosser added that it is due to the generosity of alumni and friends of the college during this campaign that SUNY Canton will be able to offer scholarships, grants and quality academic programs to current and incoming students.

“It is great to see such widespread participation from not just alumni, but faculty, staff, parents and community members,” he said.
