SUNY Canton Community Wears Jeans and Raises Funds for Renewal House

SUNY Canton raised more than $600 to benefit St. Lawrence Valley Renewal House in Canton.

The college held a Denim Day fundraiser and encouraged faculty, staff, students and administration to make a donation and wear jeans to work on April 29. Denim Day is a symbolic gesture of how a community can help change perceptions about violence against women, men and children.

It was the second time SUNY Canton participated in the annual, internationally recognized, event.
