It’s never too early to begin planning for a child’s college education.
The SUNY Canton Financial Literacy Center will be presenting a college planning seminar at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 24, in SUNY Canton’s Richard W. Miller Campus Center Room 212.
Kerrie L. Cooper, the college’s director of financial aid, and Jon Eng, a retail banking specialist from North Country Savings Bank, will explain government assistance, private funding sources and savings options. Cooper said the seminar is offered to help families who are planning for their young children’s college education.
The event is free and open to the public, but preregistration is required. For more information, or to register for the event, contact the Financial Literacy Center at (315) 386-7328 or email FLC@canton.edu.
