SUNY Canton will be displaying unique and innovative student research projects at the annual Scholarly Activities Celebration from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 4, in the College’s Southworth Library. The event is free and open to the public.
“Scholarly Activities Celebration allows us to showcase all of the wonderful innovations and exciting research our students are doing,” said Carli C. Schiffner, SUNY Canton provost and vice president for academic affairs. “In many cases, students submit exceptional projects that stem from their entire education.”
At past celebrations, the College has displayed a wide array of entries from technical, health, liberal arts, and public service disciplines, demonstrating the diversity of educational options available to students.
In tandem with the scholarly activities celebration, the College’s graphic and multimedia design program will be displaying “Optic Appeal” juried student art exhibition in the library. Students from all disciplines submitted digital images, videos, drawings, and mixed media artwork for display.
