Hewitt, a Legal Studies major, recently ran a college-wide donation drive to supply materials to create Heart Bags for the Congenital Heart Defect Coalition. Each bag is given to a family to help them through extensive hospital visits.

SUNY Canton Starts Online CannaBusiness Class for Fall 2019

CannaBusiness Management (BSAD 399) will be offered in the fall 2019 semester as an online special topics course. Associated Colleges TRIO Programs Co-Host Day of Service to Honor Veterans

St. Lawrence County’s Associated Colleges are coming together to cohost a TRIO Student Support Services Day of Service honoring area veterans. The TRIO programs will be hosting a community luncheon at noon Saturday, March 2, at the Presbyterian Church Community Center, 42 Elm St. Potsdam. Retired Chief Master Sergeant Patrick R. Rourk, Co-Chair of the Fort Drum Retiree Council will be speaking about facing adversity and accomplishment at the event. There will also be live music at the luncheon.

SUNY Canton Adds Full Time Esports Coordinator

SUNY Canton has hired a full-time esports coordinator to help continue its extraordinary growth in competitive video games. The college’s Athletic Director Randy B. Sieminski announced Charles Murray III will lead the Kangaroos esports program on a full-time basis. Head Coach Robert J. Snow will also be continuing to add leadership in his part-time role.
